I. How to Activate Your Trial

Initial Activation Step

When you click on any command within the plugin, a dialog box will appear prompting you to activate your license.

Click the “Start Your Trial” link. A new trial activation window will open, presenting you with three different options to choose from.

Here is a detailed breakdown of how each option works:

1. Very Quick Trial (7 Days)

This option is the fastest way to get started. By selecting it, you will immediately activate a 7-day trial. No further steps or payment details are required.

Once activated, the License Manager dialog will display your active trial status, as shown below:

2. Lemon Squeezy

If you choose this option and click the “Proceed” button, you will be redirected to a secure Lemon Squeezy checkout window.

You will need to fill in your payment information and click “Start trial”. Please note: You will NOT be charged immediately. Billing only occurs after the trial period ends, and you can cancel your subscription at any time before the trial expires.

3. Autodesk App Store (30 Days)

Selecting this option and clicking “Proceed” will redirect you to our plugin’s page on the Autodesk App Store.

First, sign in to your Autodesk account on the website. Then, click the blue “Free 30-Day Trial” button to activate.

With this method, you will not be automatically charged after the trial finishes.

⚠️ Important Note:
To successfully use the plugin after activating this trial, please ensure you are signed into Revit using the exact same Autodesk account that you used to activate the trial on the website.

II. Payment Platforms & Licensing

Lemon Squeezy Platform

Lemon Squeezy is an all-in-one platform for processing payments, managing subscriptions, and handling software licensing. It acts as a Merchant of Record (MoR), meaning it securely handles the complexities of global sales tax, compliance, and payment processing for a smooth checkout experience.

Payment Options

1. Annual Subscription
This is a recurring subscription billed once a year. It will automatically renew annually to ensure uninterrupted access to the plugin unless you cancel it.

Key Advantages:

  • 30-Day Free Trial: Available even if you have already completed the initial 7-day quick trial.
  • Cost-Effective: Offers a cheaper equivalent monthly rate compared to single-payment passes.
  • Loyalty Discount: Enjoy an automatic 10% discount starting from Year 2.
  • Flexibility: You can cancel your subscription at any time.

2. One-Month Pass
The most affordable option designed for quick, short-term tasks. This is a one-time payment and does not automatically renew.

3. One-Year Pass
Ideal for specific year-long projects. Similar to the one-month pass, this is a single, non-recurring payment valid for exactly one year and does not auto-renew.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

If you are on the Annual Subscription plan, you can cancel it easily at any time. Click the “Manage Your License” button via the “License” command directly in Revit, or click the “View Order” button found in your email receipt.

Once you are in the Customer Dashboard, navigate to the “Subscriptions” tab. Click on your active product, and then select the “Cancel Subscription” button.

How to Generate an Invoice

If you need to obtain a PDF invoice for your payment, you can easily generate and download it yourself using one of the two methods below:

Method 1: Via the Customer Portal (Recommended for Subscriptions)

If you are managing a recurring subscription and need invoices for specific billing cycles:

  1. Go to our Billing Portal: https://mlabs.lemonsqueezy.com/billing
  2. Enter the email address you used during checkout. A secure Magic Link will be sent to your inbox.
  3. Open your email and click the link to log in automatically.
  4. Navigate to the Billing history section, select the desired billing period, and download your PDF invoice.
Method 2: Via the “My Orders” Page (For Single Orders)

If you want to access the invoice for a specific historical purchase:

  1. Visit the global customer hub: https://app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders
  2. Log in using your purchase email address via the Magic Link sent to your inbox.
  3. Locate your mlabs order and click to generate the PDF invoice.

💡 Quick Tip:
If you need to add a company name or Tax ID to your invoice, make sure to update your details under Update billing information before downloading the PDF.

The Autodesk App Store is a web service and marketplace providing thousands of plugins, add-ons, extensions, and standalone applications that customize and extend the capabilities of Autodesk software like AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, and Fusion.

On the Autodesk App Store, you can select your preferred billing option (1-Month or 1-Year) and click the “Subscribe Now” button to check out directly through Autodesk’s secure system.

If you wish to cancel your Autodesk subscription in the future, simply return to our plugin’s page on the Autodesk App Store, sign into your account, and click the “Cancel Subscription” button.
