When exporting sheets from Autodesk® Revit® to DWG, users often encounter a significant limitation: each sheet is saved as a separate DWG file. For projects with multiple sheets, this results in numerous DWG files that need to be manually combined or imported into CAD software if users want a unified file. This manual process of merging individual sheets into one DWG file can be time-consuming and error-prone, especially for large projects with dozens or even hundreds of sheets.

This plugin eliminates the need for manual merging by offering two versatile commands that streamline the export process:

1. “To Multiple Layouts” Command

This command enables users to merge all selected Revit sheets into a single DWG file with multiple layout tabs.

• Each exported Revit sheet is assigned its own separate layout tab, preserving the individual sheet formatting and layout structure.
• This approach ensures clarity and organization, making it easier to navigate through multiple sheets directly within a single DWG file without needing additional imports.

2. “To 1 Layout” Command

This feature allows users to export multiple Revit sheets into a single DWG file, where:

• All drawings from the exported sheets are placed in the model tab.
• All sheets are organized in a single layout tab, making it easy to view and manage them in CAD software.
  This is ideal for users who prefer to have everything in one place, especially when sharing or archiving DWG files.
