A Temporary Pause on Free Revit Plugin Development
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to take a moment to share a quick update with you.
Due to some current financial challenges, I’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily pause the development of my free Revit plugins. This isn’t a decision I take lightly, as I’ve truly enjoyed building these tools and sharing them with the community.
Creating and maintaining these plugins requires a lot of time, effort, and resources — and at this moment, I need to focus on other priorities in order to support myself. I’m hopeful this is just a short break, and I look forward to continuing development once things improve.
I also want to sincerely thank those who have donated — your support means a lot to me. However, only a few users have been able to contribute, and unfortunately, it’s not enough for me to sustain this work.
At the same time, I’ve sometimes received negative feedback and low ratings on the Autodesk App Store. That can be disheartening, especially considering the plugins are free. If a plugin doesn’t meet your needs or you find a bug, I kindly ask that you reach out to me — I’m always open to fixing issues when I know about them. It’s important to remember that what may be a bug for one user might not affect others. Also, I’ve occasionally received criticism for missing features that were never promised or supported, and that can be discouraging.
Despite all this, I’m still grateful for everyone who has supported and used my tools. Your encouragement has kept me going, and I hope to return with new updates and ideas when the time is right.
See you soon,
Manh
